Welcome
I am so excited to be your child's first teacher! We have a lot to learn in junior kindergarten! In addition to being a mom of three Burbank USD students, I have more than 10 years’ experience teaching in grades JK-5 and 9-12. I have a multiple-subject teaching credential and single-subject credential in health science. I also have career technical education credentials in education, child development, & family services; health science & medical technology; hospitality, tourism, & recreation; information & communication technology; marketing, sales, & services; arts, media, & entertainment; and business & finance.
I am a firm believer that all students must learn that they are responsible for their behaviors, choices, and success. I teach students from the beginning the importance of doing things for themselves and hold them to a high standard when it comes to being respectful of other students, the teaching staff, and school property.
Because of my experiences working in pediatric health and wellness, I always keep in mind the whole child--their social, emotional, physical and academic development--while teaching.
